HO is always pushing the limits in terms of new and unique. For 2015, HO has done it again with an exclusive mounting pattern that allows the boot to not use a traditional metal binding plate. Instead, there is a small metal plate directly under the footbed that mounts to the ski. This gives you superior control and a super clean aesthetic look. One bungee lace over the forefoot and one bungee around the ankle keep your feet secure, while still allowing you to release in the case of a crash. If you are a hard charging free skier, or ripping through the slalom course, the xMAX is a great boot for you. Have friends that want to use your ski? No worries, the open toe of the xMAX accepts multiple shoe sizes and the boots are not left and right foot specific so it does not matter if you are left foot forward, or right.
